Colorado State Capitol

Take a tour of the Colorado State Capitol Building in Denver, Colorado, home of the Colorado General Assembly and the offices of the Governor of Colorado and Lieutenant Governor of Colorado. Constructed during the 1890s from Colorado white granite, the building is reminiscent of the United States Capitol. The symbolic gold dome added in1908, commemorates the Colorado Gold Rush. The building is part of Denver's Civic Center area in downtown Denver.
