Tambua Sands Beach Resort is proud to partner with Pacific Polytech Sigatoka in providing internship opportunities for students pursuing careers in Fiji's growing tourism and hospitality industry.
As part of this initiative, the resort has welcomed three students who have commenced their first industry internship placements within key operational departments of the resort:
- Mereisi Nabuci – Housekeeping Department
- Meresiana Aluma – Food & Beverage Department
- Milinia Nasiqa – Front Office Department
The internship program provides students with valuable hands-on experience and practical exposure to the hospitality industry, allowing them to apply the knowledge gained in the classroom while developing essential workplace skills.
Speaking on the partnership, Resort Manager Angela Bob said Tambua Sands is committed to supporting education, empowering young people, and helping build the future workforce of Fiji's tourism industry.

Angela added that the partnership goes beyond training and reflects the resort's commitment to supporting local communities and investing in Fiji's future.

Throughout their internship, the students will work alongside experienced team members and gain practical experience in guest relations, service delivery, operational procedures, communication skills, and workplace professionalism. They will also learn first-hand how exceptional service contributes to guest satisfaction and business success.
