In a continued show of commitment to community wellbeing, Tambua Sands Beach Resort, part of the Warwick Hotels & Resorts group, has donated a range of essential linen to the Vatukarasa Health Centre.
The donation was formally presented by Resort Manager, Ms. Angela Bob, on behalf of Tambua Sands Beach Resort. Adding a thoughtful gesture to the occasion, Ms. Bob also handed in a box of muffins to thank the hardworking nurses and staff of the health centre, acknowledging their dedication and tireless service.
The items were received by Dr. Joel, the doctor in charge of the Vatukarasa Health Centre, who grew visibly emotional as he expressed his appreciation.
“This support means so much to us,” Dr. Joel said. “Our resources are limited, and gestures like this go a long way in helping us provide better comfort and care to our patients. We are truly grateful to Tambua Sands and Warwick Hotels for remembering our small health facility.”
Ms. Bob reiterated the resort’s commitment to supporting its neighbouring communities:
“Community care lies at the heart of Warwick Hotels & Resorts’ values. Knowing that even simple contributions can make a meaningful difference inspires us to continue strengthening our relationship with the people who support us and our guests every day.”
The donated linen will significantly enhance patient comfort and assist with the daily operations of the health centre, which serves local families as well as resort guests and staff.
Tambua Sands Beach Resort remains dedicated to ongoing community support initiatives as part of Warwick Hotels & Resorts’ mission to uplift and empower local communities across Fiji.
