Area Revenue Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to join Warwick Hotels and Resorts as Area Revenue Manager. This is position is part of our corporate team, and will be based out of our Warwick New York location. At Warwick, we recognize the importance of and truly value our hardworking team members. As Area Revenue Manager, you will perform a vital role within our operation and be a key driver of our success. The ideal candidate for Area Revenue Manager will have at least three years of experience managing the Revenue Management for one or more hotels of similar size and service standard. New York (Manhattan) experience strongly desired, but not required.   

 

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Experienced with managing rates, availability, rate strategy, rate mapping, and distribution in hotels
  • Strong understanding of distribution interfaces, and OTA websites such as Booking.com and Expedia
  • Forecasting experience and able to be a strategic partner and driver of revenue for the hotel
  • Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships with our distribution partners
  • Research, understand, and keep yourself up-to-date with industry and local competitive landscape knowledge. This includes information about citywide events or other large group bookings which may affect the hotel
  • Show a desire to continually drive new business in a creative manner, never settling for less than our targeted goals.
  • To succeed in this position, you must be “hungry” for the success of the hotel. This position will report to the Area Director of Revenue Management and is under the overall direction of the Senior Vice President – Commercial and Revenue Management

 

Qualifications

  •  A minimum of three years as Revenue Manager in a similar size and service standard of hotel. Multiple hotel oversight experience desired, but not required. New York (Manhattan) experience desired, but not required
  •  Experience with Duetto, Siteminder, SynXis and Opera desired, but not required
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
  • Possess excellent presentation, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literacy to include, but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to comprehend, read, write and speak English fluently.
