Bijenkorf Department Store

De Waag (Weigh House)
Formally a city gate, this 15th-century building is the oldest non-religious building in Amsterdam. With a fascinating story that saw this ‘weigh house’ serve as a guildhall, museum, fire station and anatomical theatre, among other things, no visit to Amsterdam is complete without a visit to this iconic building.
Oude Kerk (Old Church)
Dominating over the Red Light District and neighbouring a coffee shop, nursery school and brothel, the Oude Kerk is Amsterdam’s oldest building.
