A century of New York stories
Few hotels can say they were built for love. William Randolph Hearst built the Warwick for the actress Marion Davies, then starring in the Ziegfeld Follies across the road, and her Hollywood friends soon followed her through the doors. In a sense, they have never stopped coming.
Over the years the hotel has been Cary Grant’s New York home, Elvis Presley’s address in the city, and the place the Beatles stayed while their fans filled West 54th Street below. Some of those moments can still be watched today: the band’s 1965 interview and 1966 press conference were both filmed inside the hotel.

Here’s to the next hundred years
A century on, the Warwick New York is still a New York home for travellers, whether they come for business or for pleasure. Central Park lies a few streets to the north, the theatre district a few streets to the south, and the Museum of Modern Art is a neighbour.
There is no better place to mark the occasion than Randolph’s, the bar off the lobby, widely regarded as the most New York of New York bars. Raise a glass with us: the Warwick’s second century starts now.
